My tire had a puncture. The mechanic removed the tire and examined it by dipping it in water to find every hole. This is rare. The mechanic said there might be multiple holes, so he needed to inspect and patch them all. He found a hole on the tire face. He patched it using the Cold Patch/Mushroom Plug method. * Method: Remove the tire, inspect the interior for damage, and then apply a patch or mushroom plug from the inside with special adhesive. No heat is used. * Advantages: High durability, similar to hot patching, but without the heat damaging the tire structure. This prevents the tire from hardening or deforming like hot patching. The mushroom plug completely seals the hole from the inside out. * Disadvantages: The tire needs to be removed for patching, and it's more expensive than the silk patch method. A bit more expensive, but beneficial for the tire in the long run. Highly recommend this shop. The mechanics are very meticulous.

Today I came to change tires at Tire Plus Chiang Rai. The staff provided excellent service. There was accommodation and drinks provided. Very convenient.

The technician is skilled and attentive to customers, even in small matters. Good. There are standards in both skill, price, and service.

Mobil Style - a year ago

I drove in to have them check a tire that had a screw puncture. They wanted me to pull it out and patch it if it was leaking (but it wasn't leaking after they removed it). I also asked them to check the undercarriage for an oil leak. The mechanic pointed out the leak, but they didn't offer that service. They didn't charge me for the inspection; the service was excellent.
